FEES TO ADOPT
ADOPTION FEES FOR CATS/KITTENS: $5.00 to $102.50. What is included in my adoption fee:
• Spay or Neuter -$30-$40
• Rabies/FVRCP vaccinations-$15
• FeLV/FIV test: $25 (optional)
• Parasite Exam-$5
• Microchip-$7.50
• City registration and tag-$5 (if applicable)
• Adoption Fee-$10
ADOPTION FEES FOR DOGS/PUPPIES: $10.00 to $130.00. What is included in my adoption fee:
• Spay or Neuter-$55-$90
• Rabies/DA2PP vaccinations-$15
• Parasite Exam-$5
• Heartworm Test-$12.50
• Microchip-$7.50
• City registration and tag-$5 (if applicable)
• Adoption Fee-$10
Acceptable Forms of Payment (must present form of ID)
• Cash
• Debit or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover)
• Personal check drawn from a local bank from the individual adopting the animal
If the Animal is already spayed/neutered or current on vaccinations, then that cost will be deducted from total adoption cost

St. Joseph animal shelter pets are protected against fleas, ticks and heartworm thanks to Boehringer Ingelheim’s “Partners in Protection” program which provides preventative to the shelter’s cats and dogs
